Tuskegee, Alabama  ̶  ϲͼ basketball fans who are interested in cheering on home games in Daniel “Chappie” James Arena will now pay a nominal fee to watch the Golden Tigers take on the opposition starting Saturday, Jan. 13.

The games will remain free for all Tuskegee students with the current 2023-2024 university ID, and $10 for other fans. Children 5 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased on the and on the university website.

“ϲͼ has generously allowed fans to enjoy the games without charging admission,” said Athletic Director Reginald Ruffin. “This small fee will help us continue to support university facilities, upgrades and additions, while allowing fans to enjoy the action for a minimal amount. With this, the Tuskegee Athletics department will continue the effort to provide the best possible experience for the student-athletes, alumni, fans, and any other supporters of our community and university.”

Following a pair of home games this week, both Tuskegee basketball programs will host five conference opponents through the remainder of the year, starting with Kentucky State (Jan. 13) and Central State (Jan. 15). The Golden Tigers then return to the Daniel “Chappie” James Arena to open the month of February with contests against rival Miles (Feb. 3), before rounding out the home slate with Lane (Feb. 10), LeMoyne-Owen (Feb. 12), and Spring Hill (Feb. 17).

The regular basketball season schedule runs through February, with the SIAC Basketball Championships concluding in March.
