When you transfer appreciated assets to ϲͼ, you avoid paying capital gains tax. You also become eligible to take a charitable deduction for the entire donation amount if you itemize deductions and own the stock for at least one year., it only takes a couple of minutes to access account information to share with a broker or fill out the forms online to complete the gift electronically.

Supporters 70.5 or older with a traditional IRA are eligible to donate to ϲͼ directly from their IRAs without increasing their taxable incomes. These gifts are, in many cases, tax-free, regardless of whether or not you itemize deductions on your tax return. You can use thisto make your donation online, print out the forms you need to complete the gift offline, or learn more about the benefits of giving from your IRA.

Tuskegee offers students 41 undergraduate and
22 graduate degree options in the liberal arts,
medical and STEM disciplines. It is cited as the
top producer of minority graduates nationally
in many of these career fields.

More than 100 organizations — ranging from
student government, Greek life, academics,
ROTC, and campus programs — give students
a way to develop their leadership potential and
make life-long friends.

A student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1 allows students
to develop life-long friendships with classmates
and mentoring relationships with faculty, who
prove to be invaluable resources as they seek
internship and job opportunities.
